TITLE: -------------------------------------------------------------- Non-photorealist rendering of tridimensional scenes exploiting the programmable graphic hardware. ABSTRACT: -------------------------------------------------------------- Non-photorealistic rendering (NPR) is a research area in Computer Graphics which deals with technical and artistical drawings. Cartoon-looking rendering is a NPR technique which describes free hands drawings by tridimensional models, applying commom features extracted from those kind of drawings. Cartoon’s rendering applying programmable hardwares is a prominence technique due to high performance and low cost’s hardware development. In this paper, we consider two real-time cartoon-looking rendering algorithms, using programmable hardwar and the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL).
